Inventory Replenishment
The replenishment report is a tool for tracking inventory levels of drugs as they are dispensed, and indicates when the full package quantity required for re-ordering, or “replenishing” has been reached. The tracking feature follows the orders from order placement with the wholesaler, through back-orders, delivery and invoicing.
The replenishment report show items sorted by “Should Order” or “Awaiting Fulfillment” or both. The detail section of the report indicates each inventory item by NDC Number and drug description and:
- Prescription Strength of the inventory item
- Full package size for ordering the inventory item
- Number of Units in Stock and On Order
- Suggested Order Quantity
